How a Workflow Proof runs

From one task to a fixed price, in four steps.

One input source, one destination and a sample volume agreed up front. Documents are measured by field accuracy; integrations by successful transfers, duplicates and failures.

  1. Tell us your workflow

What comes in, where it needs to end up, and who handles it today.

  2. Agree the scope and sample

One input, one destination and the examples we will test against, agreed in writing.

  3. We build and run the prototype

The prototype processes your examples. Nothing touches your live systems unless you ask.

  4. Results and a fixed price

You get the report, the failures, the limitations and a fixed price to build it properly.

Why Softgenix

Built for how small UK teams actually work.

AI for reading, code for deciding

Language models are good at reading messy input and poor at giving the same answer twice. We use them for the reading and keep rules, calculations and anything involving money in ordinary, testable code.

Measured before it goes live

Every AI step is tested on your own examples first, so you know how often it gets each field right before your team relies on it.

You talk to the people building it

There is no account manager in the middle. The person who maps your workflow is the person who writes the code.

Yours to keep

Code, prompts, accounts and infrastructure are in your name from the start, on mainstream technology another developer could take over.

Have a spec, or just a problem?

Either is fine. Send what you have, even if it's a spreadsheet and a few sentences. We'll tell you honestly whether a Workflow Proof makes sense, or whether something simpler would do.

Tell us your workflow

Built by us

Our own product works the same way.

YesScope is a planning tool we designed and built. You paste a project brief and it tells you whether your team can deliver it by the deadline. AI reads the brief; a rules-based engine plans the work, so the same brief always gives the same plan.

Your data

We don't make blanket promises about data, because the answer depends on the workflow and the providers it uses. Instead, every proposal sets it out in writing before any of your data is processed.

For a Workflow Proof you choose the sample. Redacted or anonymised examples are fine when they still show the real problem.

Each proposal states

  • Where the workflow runs and where data is stored
  • Which AI and software providers process the data, and under which of their terms
  • How long inputs and outputs are kept, and how they are deleted
  • Whether a data processing agreement is in place for the project

FAQ

Questions people ask first.

What is a Workflow Proof?

A £350 fixed-price test of one workflow. We build a working prototype, run it on an agreed sample of your real examples, and give you the results, the failed cases, the limitations and a fixed price to implement it. The £350 is credited toward implementation if you go ahead.

What if the proof shows the workflow won't work?

Then you have found out for £350 instead of after a full build. The report explains what failed and why, so you can decide whether a narrower version is worth doing.

Do we have to replace the software we already use?

Usually not. Most of our work connects the systems you already have, such as your inbox, accounts, CRM and spreadsheets.

What does Softgenix do besides automation?

We build custom business software, SaaS products and MVPs. Softgenix is a UK software studio; AI workflows and API integration are where we focus.

Is Softgenix the company behind YesScope and Groportune?

Yes. Softgenix LTD (company number 16287677) designs, builds and operates YesScope and Groportune. Astonto, which supplies the research behind Groportune, is a separate company.

Does Softgenix still build websites for local businesses?

That work now runs under Groportune, the Softgenix LTD brand for local and service businesses. Softgenix itself focuses on AI workflows, integrations and software.

Send us one task your team repeats every day.
